The world’s busiest intersection in Shibuya, Tokyo Japan.

すごい人でしょ? 迷子(まいご)にならないように気をつけなければいけませんね。 (^^)

Look at the crowds !!  Please be careful not getting lost when you are at the intersection.

今日の日本語レッスンは ’ 道案内(みちあんない = michi annai) ‘です。

kyou no nihongo lessun wa ‘ michiannai’ desu.

Today’s Japanese lesson is ‘ Directions “

交差点(= kousaten = intersection)

信号( = shingou = traffic lights)

道(  = michi = street / road)

渡る( = watasu = to cross)

行く( = iku = to go)

渡ってください(  = watatte  kudasai= Please cross ~)

行って ください( = itte kudasai = Please go)

駅(えき = station)

~は どこですか(  = ~ wa doko desu ka = Where is ~ ?)

まっすぐ( = massugu = straight)

~て ください ( = ~te kudasai = Please do ~)

交番( = kouban = police box)

となり( tonari = next to)

あります( arimasu = there is / to have)

A : すみません。 渋谷駅はどこですか。

B: この道をまっすぐ行って、交差点を渡ってください。 渋谷駅は交番のとなりにありますよ。

A: ありがとうございます。

B: いいえ。どういたしまして。

A: Sumimasen. Shibuya eki wa doko desu ka?

B:  kono michi o massugu itte, kousaten o watatte kudasai. shibuya eki wa kouban no tonari ni arimasu yo.

A:  arigatou gozaimasu.

B:  iie. dou itashimashite.

A: Excuse me.  Where is the Shibuya station?

B: Please go straight and cross the  intersection. Shibuya station is next to the police box.

A:  Thank you.

B:  You’re welcome.

    the crosswalk is a big X inside a square, right??

    Hai sou desu. Watashi no uchi wa koko kara aruite 20-pun gurai no tokoro ni arimasu.
