デコ電

日本語(にほんご)には本当(ほんとう)にたくさんの擬音語(ぎおんご)や擬態語(ぎたいご)が使(つか)われています。
最近(さいきん)日本で人気(にんき)の『デコ電(でん)』って何(なん)のことかわかりますか。
デコは『デコレーション』で、電(でん)は『電話』のことなんです。
キラキラしたものでいろいろなものをデコレーションすることを『デコる』と言う(いう)そうです。 おもしろいですね。

Many onomatopoeia are used in Japanese language.
DId you know what “Deko-den” mean?
“Deko-den” are very popular in Japan now.

Wow…. very shiny and beautiful, aren’t they?
Ok, here we are now.
I will teach you some onomatopoeia when you want to describe something shiny or sparkling.

きらきら・キラキラ = spakle / glitter / twinkle
つやつや・ツヤツヤ = shiny
ぴかぴか・ピカピカ = flicker
